The HRS AS Series is a fully stainless steel heat exchanger comprising three or four concentric tubes. The product flows through the annular space, while the service fluid circulates through the inner and outer tubes, ensuring even heating or cooling. The removable inner tube allows for easy inspection and maintenance of the annular space.

The HRS AS Series is ideal for high-viscosity products, including fluids containing fibres or small particulates. Typical applications encompass tomato pulp and paste, ketchup, fruit purées and concentrates, jams and marmalades, soups, sauces, and baby food.

The HRS AS Series utilises corrugated tube technology, which increases heat transfer efficiency compared to standard smooth tube designs. This corrugation also helps minimise fouling, ensuring consistent performance over time.

The HRS AS 3 Series is a triple-tube heat exchanger designed for viscous products, with the product flowing through the annular space and service fluids through the inner and outer tubes. The HRS AS 4 Series is a quadruple-tube heat exchanger suitable for very high-viscosity applications, offering designs with higher pressure capabilities on the product side due to increased tube wall thickness.

The HRS AS Series includes a removable inner tube, facilitating easy inspection and cleaning of the annular space. This design ensures that maintenance procedures are straightforward, reducing downtime and maintaining hygiene standards.
